Job Description

Darren Bell provide professional recruitment management and logistical support 24 hours a day 365 days a year. Our core specialism is the supply of permanent and temporary staff across Driving, Logistics, Industrial, Warehousing and Commercial sectors.

We are currently looking for a van drivers for moving commercial vehicles in Royal Portbury Docks in PORTBURY, the successful candidate will be required to work on a full time basis on days, Monday to Friday. It is an opportunity that could potentially lead to permanent position for the right candidates.

Job Role:

Pay rate is £7.83 per hour.

Working week is Monday to Friday 0700 hrs start.

• Moving of New Commercial Vehicles around Royal Portbury docks

• Parking Commercial Vehicles in designated areas

Job Requirements:

• Must be a MINIMUM of 23 years old – (This is due to insurance purposes)

• Must have held a UK driving license for a minimum of 5 years (non UK licence holders cannot be considered)

• No more than 6 points currently on your licence (No DD, CD, IN, DR or TT endorsements visible on licence)

• Must have 2 years+ driving experience in a DRIVING role (as demonstrated on your CV)

You must be presentable with good customer service skills

This is an ongoing role and will not be suitable for anyone who is looking for part time or ad-hoc work

There is a strict dress code for the role which needs to be considered:

• Dark coloured trousers (No jeans, shorts etc)

• Dark shoes (No trainers, flip flops etc)

• Dark polo shirt, shirt (No T-shirts with slogans or hoodies etc)

Please note: Due to the location of this role, own transport is ESSENTIAL to get you to Portbury as there are no public transport links.
